Also in March, Wachendorff Automation launches the WDGR series, a family of redundant incremental encoders with diverse sensor technology (optical and magnetic). In combination with corresponding controllers or, for example, speed monitors, high performance levels can be achieved at a reasonable price. In September 2019, VISUALYS, a corporate start-up from Wachendorff, becomes active. The core competencies of the young company lie in data VISUalition and data anALYSIS in the IIoT and Industry 4.0 environment.
In August 2019 the foundation stone for a new warehouse will be laid with 600 qm. The Wachendorff Group buys a 8.500 square metre adjoining plot of land to ensure future expansion. On 25 July we have to bid farewell to our company founder. Rolf Wachendorff dies at the age of 94. Wachendorff Automation launches a world first: the „Universal Industrial Ethernet encoder“! The required protocol can be loaded just in time; PROFINET and EtherCAT are available for the launch (February).
